New at the Alligator Farm in St Augustine FL

The Alligator Farm is so much more than just alligators. They have added encounters with animals to the park and more. Here are a few of my favorite things to do at the Alligator Farm.

Zoo Tours

New behind-the-scenes tours show you the inner workings or the zoological park as well as opportunities to feed and touch some animals that are normally off limits.  You can reserve your tour for just $10 + regular park admission. Tours are Tuesdays-Sundays at 12:30pm and 3:30pm.

Hang Out With Sloths

Hang out with Teddy and Grizzly the two-toed sloths. In the rainforest sloth encounter you get to take pictures and even get to pet them. They might be slow but they sure are cute. $45 per person + regular park admission. Tours are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 2.30pm.

Visit With a Crocodile

Get up close and personal with Maximo the 15-foot 3 inch, 1,250-pound crocodile in the Maximo encounter. Not only will you get to be on the feeding platform to watch him leap from the water to retrieve his dinner, but you can also see him from the underwater viewing window.

Join the Raptor Run 3K

Looking to support a good cause, participate in the Raptor Run 3k. This run is for all ages and takes you through the zoo. The race supports local conservation efforts and native wildlife.
